2023 Election: The Mayor Of Port Harcourt, Sir Allwell Ihunda, Together With PDP Leaders Begins Campaign In Port Harcourt LGA With Party Secretariat Dedication And Thanksgiving Church Service.
PDP Chairman in Rivers State says PDP will continue to win elections in Port Harcourt City Local Government like every other elections since 1999.
The Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government together with PDP Leaders kick-starts 2023 campaign in PHALGA with a unique Church Service thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral, Port Harcourt and also dedicated the new PDP party Secretariat.
The chairman of PDP in Rivers State, Amb Desmond Akawor, who was represented by his deputy Hon. Aaron Chukwuemeka commends party members for their loyalty and commitment to the party in Rivers State, says the party has always won every election in Port Harcourt since 1999 and trust the party to coast home to victory in the forthcoming 2023 elections.
He spoke while performing the commissioning ceremony of the campaign office of the party in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area.
The Chairman thanked party faithful for their loyalty to the party and support for the administration of Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike since 2015.
He said consolidating on the good works of the Governor of Rivers State is best in the interest of the state, and urged the people of Port Harcourt to vote massively for Amaopu-Senibo Siminialayi Fubara for Governor, Chief Allwell Onyeasoh for Rivers East Senatorial district, Barr.Chima Boms and Barr.Mrs Blessing Amadi for House of representatives PHALGA 1&2 also, Hon.Solomon Wami, Hon.Tonye Smart Adoki and Hon.Azeru Opara for Rivers State House Of Assembly PHALGA 1,2&3 respectively.
In his remark, leader of the PDP in PHALGA, Eze.(Barr) Ken Chikere DSSRS said he has a responsibility to deliver the party in the LGA
He urged candidates of the party to stand up to responsibilities.
The Campaign Co-ordinator of the LGA and Mayor Of Port Harcourt, Sir Allwell Ihunda thanked the leaders of the party in the LGA for their support to rent the campaign office.
He charged the Port Harcourt people to ensure they get their PVC before INEC close date.
“I want to most humbly thank our state party chairman for finding time to honour our invitation this morning to dedicate our campaign council office.
I thank our leaders who have also made it possible for this campaign office to be rented, I thank every supporter of our party for all your support, prayers and participation in all our activities, may the good Lord continue to bless you”- Sir Allwell Ihunda added.
Members of the campaign council had earlier worshipped at the St Paul’s Cathedral Church Diobu Port Harcourt, were the council was officially dedicated to God Almighty.
