SIR ALLWELL IHUNDA THANKS GOV NYESOM WIKE FOR IMPROVING THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF PORT HARCOURT CITY LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

_Expresses his gratitude to the Governor for the good works he has done and is still doing in the LGA_

Mayor Of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Sir Allwell Ihunda says the development of the Ogbum-Nu-Abali sand field area and the construction of the Estate Layout by the Administration of Gov Nyesom Ezenwo has improved safety and security of the LGA.

Sir Allwell Ihunda said this in his welcome address at the inuaguration of the developed Ogbum-Nu-Abali sand field area and estate layout, constructed by Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.

“Let me on behalf of the people of Port Harcourt express our profound gratitude to your excellency for the good works you have been doing in our LGA and the entire state.

We thank you for providing purposeful leadership, your developmental strides,people oriented programmes and projects stands out”.

The Mayor recounted how the Ogbum-Nu-Abali sand field area used to be a swamp and a hideout for criminals and hoodlums who find the place as a safe haven after commiting heinous crimes.

“Your Excellency you have changed the landscape of this area and have beautified the place, we are indeed very grateful to you”.

In his address to the people of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Gov. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike said those who have contributed meaningfully to the development of the state will always benefit from the state.

He said the sand field area will now serve as a befitting residential quarters for the people of the state.

Performing the inuaguration, the special guest of honour and Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi thanked Gov Wike for given him the opportunity of commissioning a 3rd project in the state.

He described Gov Wike as an uncommon achiever, a development icon who has done exceedingly well for his people.
