Port Harcourt Media Organization Applauds Mayor Allwell Ihunda\u2019s Transformative Strides in PHALGA<\/p>\n

The Port Harcourt City Media Organization has lauded the Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Sir (Hon.) Allwell Ihunda, DSSRS, JP, for his exceptional leadership and visible developmental achievements across PHALGA, particularly in healthcare, empowerment, and youth development.<\/p>\n

During a courtesy visit to the Mayor at the Council Secretariat, the media delegation led by Mr. Bright Nnokam congratulated Sir Ihunda on his re-emergence and assumption of office for a new term. Mr. Nnokam described the newly constructed PHALGA Healthcare Centre as a \u201cstandard facility befitting the city\u2019s growing population,\u201d commending the Mayor for his unwavering support to the media community.<\/p>\n

He assured that the organization remains committed to amplifying the Mayor\u2019s policies, projects, and people-focused initiatives.<\/p>\n

Responding, Sir Allwell Ihunda expressed deep appreciation for the group\u2019s solidarity and pledged continuous partnership with the media in driving transparent governance and community development.<\/p>\n

He announced plans to launch a massive medical outreach program targeting 10,000 beneficiaries, alongside the continuation of his Legacy Empowerment and Skills Acquisition Programme designed to promote trade and entrepreneurship among youths.<\/p>\n

The Mayor thanked God for the peace that has returned to the state which will forster economic growth<\/p>\n

Sir Ihunda also revealed that the Council will soon organize capacity-building workshops for media organization to strengthen professionalism and enhance their impact in community reporting.<\/p>\n
