Skills Acquisition: The Mayor Of Port Harcourt, Sir Allwell Ihunda To Begin The Mentorship Program For Beneficiaries Of His Skills Acquisition Program
The Mayor of Port Harcourt, Sir Allwell Ihunda DSSRS JP is set to roll out a mentorship program that is aimed at
identifying those actively practicing what they learnt during the skills acquisition training, identify their challenges, and explore possible areas of assisting them.
This is a follow-up from the skills acquisition program to ensure the program yields desired results.
The Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Sir Allwell Ihunda DSSRS JP, has shown maximum fulfillment and satisfaction of his administration performance and said his administration has fulfilled all its campaign promises.
His administration has empowered over 1200 beneficiaries with various skills in Port Harcourt City Local Government through the skills acquisition program.
He also provided starter packs to the beneficiaries, to reduce unemployment in the society by making the beneficiaries employable and employers of labor.
The Chairman of the Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Port Harcourt City Local Government, Dr. Ezebunwo Nyeche, said the committee has started reaching out to the beneficiaries (graduates) to know how far they have gone with the skills they have learnt.
Dr. Nyeche, however, thanked the Mayor for his productive leadership style in bringing the dividends of democracy to the people of Port Harcourt in various wards of the Local Government since his emergence as the Mayor of Port Harcourt on 17th June 2021.
