The Mayor of Port Harcourt, Sir Allwell Ihunda DSSRS JP has commended the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Eco, District 9141, that demonstrated their desire to combat the climatic challenge by planting trees at Eastern Bypass road, Port Harcourt.
Performing the first phase of the tree planting exercise, the Mayor said it is necessary to help recreate the environs of Port Harcourt, said this exercise will not only recreate the climatic challenge but also provide shade and economic taste to the environment.
The Mayor assured the Rotary Club Port Harcourt Eco of the Local Government support and partnership.
