EASTER: SIR ALLWELL IHUNDA URGE CHRISTIAN FAITHFUL IN PORT HARCOURT TO MAKE SACRIFICES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY
_Appeals for total support for the incoming administration of Amaopu-Senibo Siminialayi Fubara_
Mayor of Port Harcourt City, Sir Allwell Ihunda has urged Christain faithful in the city to make sacrifices that will advance the development of the city.
Sir Allwell Ihunda statement was contained in his Easter message released from his press office on Saturday.
The Mayor said Easter marks yet another celebration of Christianity and it’s reaffirmation of the love of God and his son Jesus Christ, for the entire human race.
He urged the people of Port Harcourt to be reminded of how the love of just one man saw him sacrifice his life just to save the world, they should also be able to make huge sacrifices for the development of the city.
He calls on the people of Port Harcourt to give total support to the incoming administration of Amaopu-Senibo Siminialayi Fubara just as they have always supported the Wike led administration in the state.
As we celebrate Easter, we must purge our hearts of vanity and connect to God Almighty with the consolation that we all shall one day rise in Christ Jesus.
May God continue to bless and protect you all, as we prepare for the resurrection with our hearts, filled with happiness.
