SIR ALLWELL IHUNDA REAFFIRMS THE FAITH, LOYALTY AND COMMITMENT OF THE PEOPLE OF PORT HARCOURT TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF GOV NYESOM WIKE
_Says whatever directives the Governor gives as regards the 2023 presidential election the people will follow 100%_
Mayor Of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Sir Allwell Ihunda has reaffirmed the faith , loyalty and commitment of the people of Port Harcourt to the administration of Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.
Sir Allwell Ihunda said this in his welcome address at the Commissioning of an ultra modern seven storey office complex in Port Harcourt, re-constructed by the Rivers State Government.
“Your Excellency as a messenger of the people of Port Harcourt, we want to reaffirm our faith, loyalty and commitment to your administration.
We want to say that we are waiting patiently to hear from you as regards the 2023 Presidential election, be rest assured that the people of Port Harcourt are solidly behind you.
Wherever you ask us to go that is where we shall go, your excellency just direct us, of course the people of Port Harcourt will follow”.
The Mayor remarked how the re-constructed seven storey office complex has not only added to the beauty of the city but has also addressed the security situation of the area.
“Your Excellency let me express the profound gratitude of my people for the good works you have been doing for us.
This building you want to commission today is another plus to your urban development and transformation agenda in Rivers State”.
The Mayor recounted how the building was abandoned by Riv-Bank insurance for so many years and became a hideout for criminals in the area and posed a security threat to the people.
“Your Excellency we want to say thank you because the security challenge we used to experience here has been addressed and totally taken care of”.
In his address to the people of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Gov. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike thanked the host communities of Ogbum-Nu-Abali for supporting the contractor in delivering the project as at when due.
He thanked the leaders of the state for the immense support they have given to him in this period of project flag off and commissioning.
While performing the inuaguration of the building, Gov Wike said the Rivers State Government is willing to lease or sell the building outright and commit the proceeds into other developmental projects for the benefit of the state.
