I send warm Easter Greetings to all Christian faithfuls in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area.
Easter is the prime event event of the Christian faith, when people all over the world join together with family and friends to celebrate the ultimate expression of Love and Sacrifice Christ made; and the Supreme demonstration of God’s Mercy, Faithfulness and Redemption.
Though this year’s observance of Easter comes at a time when our dear country is facing unprecedented challenges of insecurity and economic hardship, let’s be encouraged with the unchanged message of the Season ~ “Though sorrow may last through the night, Joy comes in the morning”.
In the Spirit of the Season, I therefore enjoin all Christian faithfuls and other well meaning citizens of our City to with in Love for one another, irrespective of tribe and religious inclination as exemplified by the Life of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and hope of life to come.
